Roo

Roo is a young girl who was raised around faire, as her mom is a a psychic that tells fortunes there, using a crystal ball, tarot, palmistry, and several other methods of bilking the rubes patrons from their hard-earned poundage. (Jes' kiddin', Sister)

I've watched her grow up, from a young girl on the cusp of puberty, to a brand new mom with a munchkin of her own.

Man, I'm feeling old. :-)

Duos

It is probably THE standard pic taken at faire - the standup and smile for the camera, fixed and frozen with your arm around somebody that you either thought was interesting, or had some interesting garb, or asked to take a pic with you. It must happen to me dozens of times each day.



Trite - you betcha. But still, they remain some of my favorite pics from faire, the pictorial equivalent of "Kilroy Was Here," a way to document your visit and the folks you had fun meeting and talking to.



Great art? Certainly not. Just great memories.

Dynamite...

...comes in small packages.

This patron, garbed as a harem girl, stood about four-foot nothin', but as you can plainly see, was prettier than any woman has a right to be.

And, umm... how to say this delicately? As lovely as she is from that angle, you shoulda seen her walking away. :-)

Reminded me of the old cigarette slogan...

"So firm, so round, so fully packed."
