Hah! Made You Laugh!

OK, I'm not really one to waste a lot of space on jokes, especially those really tired ones that you get in your inbox about eleventy-seven times, (Yes, Virginia, that is a number in Texas) but this one made me laugh out loud.

What happens when you have

1. nothing to do
2. a sharp knife
3. a large lime
4. a patient cat
5. too much tequila
6. and it's football season?

Fucking the Left :-)

One night about a few weeks back, a friend of mine and I were having a late night chat. The topic turned to geopolitics, specifically the reconstruction of Iraq and the low-level fighting still going on there.

In the course of the conversation, I made a typical-for-me gratutitous slam at ol' Slick Willie.

She's a bit of a Lefty, so all of the sudden, it was on, - it got heated, but it ended up heated in a compleatly different manner. :-)

After a half hour or so of back and forth, which I've mercifully left out, but be assured I was Right and she was Wrong, it was long past our bedtimes, and she said:

(her words in blue, mine in red) It's an interesting conversation--I'd just prefer to conduct it when we have more time, would love best of all to conduct it face-to-face, maybe with a nice bottle of red wine to go along with it. Well, I could if I was there, if we were face2face, we'd be doing other things.... Yes--but it would probably be a shorter conversation! I think it would go like this...

pump... thrust... grind... clench... uh-huh...But Bush is the debbil, I say!" kiss... lick... stroke...

"No, that's Slick Willie!" moan. groan. clasp. squeeze. lol "Who's yer Daddy!" "You are! You Are!" quiver. spasm. spurt. lol collapse. rollover. fade.

"luv ya." "me too" (snores) (snores)

That's it! I refuse to have this conversation until we can have it face-to-face! (laughs)

Prolly how it would go, too. sounded about right--sounds like fun That's good - I always like sticking it to The Left. hmph Fuck 'em, I say! lol Fuck the Left! Line 'em up! Cock like a rock! Bring it on, sweetheart I'll make 'em have my babies, I tell ya!" How 'bout a little less talk, and a lot more action! So see, cats and dogs can live together. :-)

Cox & Forkum

Newly added to the blogroll is the brand spanking new site of the egg-cellent political cartoonists, Cox & Forkum.

Here's a sample of their stuff...

It's titled, "What's the Rush?"

UPDATE: I found a report that I thought made fitting accompaniment to this cartoon. This is from a Labour leftwing MP... "Ms Clwyd, MP for Cynon Valley, told of an under-nourished university teacher who had given birth in prison and begged guards for milk to feed her child. The guards refused and the baby died.

"For three days she held that baby in her arms and would not give the body up. After three days due to the 60-degree heat, the body of course started to smell, and [the woman] was taken away and killed."

She also told of a 15-year-old boy tortured and crucified, and pinned against the prison window. When he begged for water a prisoner who came to his aid was beaten up.

She found many refugees had been ethnically cleansed for being Kurds.

"That's the reality of Saddam's Iraq," she said. "When I hear people calling for more time, I say, who is going to speak up for those victims? Who is to help the victims of Saddam's regime unless we do it?"

She said the regime should be indicted for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, and it was her great regret that Britain had not led the way to regime change in Iraq when it had the chance during the first Gulf war."
