Shameless Fucking Pigs

It seems that the Chinese have decided to send a few pigs to Afghanistan to be in the zoo there. Apparently, many Afghanis have never even seen one in real life. Some Muslims don't like it....

Dr. Zakir Naik is the President of the Islamic Research Foundation, whatever that is. Here, he offers these informative observations...

"The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate. (Guess he's never heard of bonobos, our closest relatives - mld) In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. two men sleep with each other's wives. (And sometimes our girlfriends, too, Dr.Naik. oink-oink! - mld) If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. (Aah! The oh-so-scientific "You Are What You Eat" Principle - mld) We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives is common in the affluent circles of Bombay."

Well, it seems there may be hope for you yet, then, Doctor, at least among "the affluent circles of Bombay," where it can be hoped that someone that uses the title "doctor" may have received an education scientific enough to deter them from publishing in a public forum such howlers of a concept as humans acquiring the morals of the animals they eat.

i think the good doctor is a little long winded. a sign from any elementary school cafeteria would sum it up as "you are what you eat". but i guess he likes to feel smart.

well, actually, there is not anywhere near as much partner swapping going on here as there is pork consumption. so i think his corollary is a little off. the whole partner swapping thing looks more in vogue from the media, and particularly the net, than it actually is. mebbe the good doctor needs to watch a little less j. springer, or clean up his clandestine net surfing habits. btw, given the choice between partner swapping and pork consumption, i think a little spurious sex is prolly better for you...
