Hawke and a wench


It is probably THE standard pic taken at faire - the standup and smile for the camera, fixed and frozen with your arm around somebody that you either thought was interesting, or had some interesting garb, or asked to take a pic with you. It must happen to me dozens of times each day.



Trite - you betcha. But still, they remain some of my favorite pics from faire, the pictorial equivalent of "Kilroy Was Here," a way to document your visit and the folks you had fun meeting and talking to.



Great art? Certainly not. Just great memories.

Nope, was the real deal...

The lady in that pic (lickin the leek) was from Nawlins, which explains a lot. :-) People from there are liable to do anything.
